Jaffa Gate, one of the most important gates of the Old City, is where most tourists and visitors enter Jerusalem. The gate was built along with the wall in 1538 by the Ottoman Sultan Suleiman Ibn Selim al-Kanuni. In 1906, the famous clock tower was built adjacent to the gate, which was the most beautiful and impressive of the seven towers built in the land of Israel!
